Jon Bon Jovi has finally broken his silence on the adoption news surrounding his son, Jake Bongiovi, and daughter-in-law, Millie Bobby Brown, which raised many eyebrows.
After the couple tied the knot in May 2024, they made an announcement in August 2025 that they had adopted a baby girl. Since then, many have questioned their decision due to their young age.
But despite the criticisms, the pair has received the full support of Jake’s father.

Just like any first-time granddad, Jon Bon Jovi is thrilled that Jake and Millie have already welcomed a baby girl together.
“It’s crazy, but great. Wonderful,” he told Bunnie XO in an interview posted on TikTok. “They adopted a girl, we met the baby, obviously, and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean? Your baby.”
The music icon also can’t get enough of his granddaughter, admitting he’s constantly asking for updates from new parents.
“It’s beautiful. I want to see pictures, like, every other day,” Jon continued. “I’m that pain-in-the-butt guy already and, yeah, it’s cool.”
When asked about Jake and Millie’s early marriage, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer revealed that he gave them his blessing, believing the couple is “mature beyond their years.”
“She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young,” he explained. “She and Jake fell in love, and we just thought, ‘OK, we’ll support this.’ And it’s working out.”

Jake and Millie first sparked dating rumors in June 2021 and then made their relationship Instagram official in November of the same year.
The couple announced their engagement in April 2023 and officially tied in a low-key ceremony in May 2024. After just five months, they held a second, more extravagant wedding in Italy.
The 23-year-old model-actor and the Stranger Things star then surprised everyone when they announced they had adopted a baby girl in August 2025.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
From there, fans continuously criticize Millie for marrying and having a baby young. But true to her fashion, the Enola Holmes star doesn’t mind.
In fact, a source told The Post that “she couldn’t care less” about being called “tradwife.”
“She’s too confident to mess with,” the insider continued. “She doesn’t give a crap. Why should she?”
