JoJo Siwa has officially confirmed that she is dating Chris Hughes after weeks of speculation.
Fans have noticed that Siwa and Hughes became close when they served as houseguests in the recent season of Celebrity Big Brother UK. Since then, there have been speculations on whether they are dating or just platonic friends.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Siwa has made it official that she and Hughes are in a romantic relationship.
"It’s not platonic anymore. It’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him, and he’s the same way," she said.
"This is a very genuine connection — we’re not faking a thing. People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop."
Siwa clarified that she wants to prioritize her happiness and shoot down the speculations on her relationship with Hughes.
"I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much," she said.
What Does JoJo Siwa Think of the Backlash on Her Relationship with Chris Hughes?
When asked about the backlash on her relationship with Hughes, Siwa is just shrugging it all off.
"I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate. But I’m also living a human life. You can’t help who you love," she said.
Siwa also explained the viral photo where she and Hughes are lying in bed together.
She said, "You know when you’re alone, how you feel? You are your true, raw self. I’ve obviously felt like that before, but never around one single person."
Siwa, who previously identified as a lesbian, was in a relationship with Kath Ebbs, who is nonbinary. However, during her stay in the Big Brother house, she identifies as queer. They broke up after the season ended.
