Jerry O'Connell recently admitted that he has a collection of figures of his wife Rebecca Romijn's X-Men character Mystique.

As long-time Marvel fans know, Romijn is known for playing the fan-favorite mutant villain in the original X-Men movies before Jennifer Lawrence essentially took over the role in the First Class prequel films.

Unlike her X-Men co-star Hugh Jackman, there are no official plans yet to bring back Romijn in the role, but fans would love to see her reprise her iconic character again one more time while the MCU is still in Multiverse Saga.

In a recent interview, O'Connell revealed that he is a collector of unique Mystique figures he usually gets during a convention.

However, his shelf of Mystique collection embarrassed his wife Romijn.

"My wife was Mystique inĀ X-Men, and whenever I come to a con, I look for obscure, unique Mystique figures and figurines. We collect them and I put them up," the actor shared.

"I put it up, it's mine, and my wife is a little embarrassed by it, but it's my Mystique shelf."

This is not the first time that O'Connell expressed his love for his wife's iconic X-Men character.

A few months ago, the actor shared a photo of himself cosplaying as Mystique at a comic convention.

Hopefully, O'Connell will share with us a glimpse of his Mystique collection on social media as fans are definitely curious to see what his "unique" figures look like and how embarrassing it really is.

In a past interview, Romijn expressed her interest in reprising the role of Mystique in a future MCU project if ever she gets asked.

"I don't know if they would ever want me back. I mean, that was quite a few years back when I played that character, but I would love to, yeah, absolutely," the actress said.

"It was a fantastic franchise to be a part of. I'll love that cast until the day I die. We had a great time together. And yeah, I would absolutely be open to that."
