Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are unlikely to work together on a project directed by the latter. The exes have worked together in the past but are now adamant about filming together.

Jennifer Garner Disapproved of Ben Affleck's Directing?

Affleck is not just a well-known actor; he is also a popular director. He has already directed several films, including Argo, The Town, Gone Baby Gone, and the new sports drama Air.

However, Garner is reportedly not into her ex-husband's style of directing a project. The Yes Day actress is not interested in working on a movie directed by her ex-husband for a reason.

Garner explained, per FandomWire.

"I don't want to because he is not the world's fastest director, and I like to get in and do my work and go home and put the kids to bed. I'm afraid there would be this moment where I would say, 'OK. You've got it. I promise you it is in the can. I've got to go home.' But you know, life is long, and I never say never. I think Ben is brilliant at what he does. I am so happy for him and proud of him."

Additionally, the outlet noted that their previous projects, Daredevil and Pearl Harbor, were a flop. Pearl Harbor had a similar approach to the hit film Titanic, but it failed to live up to the expectations.

Jennifer Garner Says Their Kids Are Hesitant to Watch Her Movies Compared to Their Dad Ben Affleck's

Garner, 51, and Affleck, 50, were married for a decade before they split. They share three children Violet, 17; Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

In an interview with InStyle, the celebrity mom admitted that her children with Affleck had a different take on her films compared to their dad's.

She explained:

"My kids don't love to watch me in things. They do to be supportive, but I think it's a little weird to watch your mom kiss someone or cry. It's different."

She added:

"They don't mind watching their dad. They don't want to see me sad, and they don't want to see me in a romance. They don't love seeing me play someone else's mom, honestly. I don't know if they'll watch this."

Affleck and Garner have remained amicable following their divorce. The Gone Girl star had reunited with his previous love Jennifer Lopez. The couple, who dated in the early 2000s, reconciled nearly two decades later and got married in July 2022.
