Jennifer Garner said rekindling a romance with her ex-husband is unlikely, admitting she’s “deathly afraid” of the possibility.

Jennifer Garner’s relationship with Ben Affleck has been in the spotlight recently after they were photographed together with their children on a painting outing.
Garner and Affleck are separated but chose to co-parent their three children.
The two Hollywood stars are often seen together because of this arrangement, but they have also been spotted in close moments, such as when Affleck was seen hugging the Alias star while they were out with their family.
An insider told Daily Mail, however, that the 52-year-old actress is “deathly afraid” of starting over with Affleck, as his past affair with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, still gives her “trust issues.”
The source added that while Garner may love Ben, “she doesn’t want to heal another broken heart because it is just too much drama.”
According to them, the Elektra actress does not want to give their children the impression that they will be mending fences despite their strained relationship.
Meanwhile, Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, whom she has had an on-and-off relationship with, wants her to distance herself from Affleck.
Per Daily Mail, a source revealed, “John is trying to deal with Ben and Jen’s relationship by mostly staying quiet, but it’s very hard to do that.”
They also stated that the CEO of Cali Group understands Affleck’s role as a father to Garner’s children and respects him but “wants to be the man in the relationship” and does not feel comfortable sharing his girlfriend.

In contrast to Garner’s decision not to rekindle romance with her ex-husband, Affleck seems open to the idea, but only if “the timing is right.”
The Batman actor knows that starting anew is not the most realistic option right now, according to a source who spoke to Page Six.
“Ben just got out of a marriage and finalized his divorce. He is really busy with work and focused on this new chapter,” they explained, referring to Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
The Oscar winner was previously involved in a cheating scandal when their nanny allegedly told her friends about their affair.
Her friends claimed that Christine was in love with Affleck at the time. However, he never admitted to the alleged affair, calling the rumors “complete garbage and full of lies.”
Garner, who was deeply hurt by the scandal, ended her marriage with the Gone Girl actor in 2015.
“It was a real marriage,” the Golden Globe nominee said in an interview with Vanity Fair.
She further explained that she did not marry Affleck for appearances, describing how she genuinely fell in love with “the most brilliant person in any room.”
“I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow,” Garner added.
