Why Did Jenelle Evans' Husband Kill Their Family Dog?
Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, admitted to killing her French bulldog, Nugget. Their family dog's death made headlines in May 2019, resulting in Evans temporarily losing custody of her children and eventually being fired from MTV's Teen Mom 2, Entertainment Tonight reported.
In an interview with People TV, Eason said he killed the dog to protect their 4-year-old daughter Ensley Jolie, who was only two at the time of the incident.

"It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger," Eason explained. "This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again."
Jenelle's husband opted to kill Nugget because he had no other choice. If he gave her up for adoption, she would be around kids again. Also, if he called the authorities, she would be euthanized. He said he wouldn't pay anyone to euthanize his dog when he could do it himself.
Nugget was Jenelle's pet dog, and he admitted that he loved her too and what he did to their fur baby wasn't easy for him either.
"I still think about her every day," Eason explained. "It’s really hard for me. A lot of people put me down for it, they hate me for it, but like I said it was not something I wanted to do."
