The Conflict Between Aureatia and Lithia in Ishura, Explained
After an unidentified hero killed the True Demon King, Taren the Guarded, who was formerly an Aureatian general, decided to declare independence from Aureatia.
She’s now calling the regional city along the canal that she possessed the New Principality of Lithia.
Taren the Guarded is widely known as the self-proclaimed Demon King in Aureatia. She has her military force of wyvern species that can annihilate everything in sight.
She is also rounding up magic items and mercenaries to help achieve her goal.
On the other hand, Aureatia and its 29 officials see Taren’s actions as a serious military provocation that threatens the city’s control over the frontier.
After all, Aureatia believes that they are the only true kings, and the others are just self-proclaimed.
Ishura Characters and Their Factions Explained: Who's Against Who?
There are two factions in the story of Ishura, and they are either on Aureatia's side or Lithia's side.
These factions have mercenaries and champions on their side, regardless of whether they are visitors or minians.
The first visitor introduced in Ishura is none other than Soujirou the Willow Sword. He decided to join Yuno of the Distant Talon to come to Aureatia to find a worthy opponent to fight.
But what awaits Soujirou is Hidow the Clamp, who plans on using him to assassinate Taren the Guarded of Lithia.
Next is Alus the Star Runner, who was Harghent the Wing Plucker’s old acquaintance.
His whereabouts are unknown, but Harghent believes that he went to Nagan to find the Cold Star, which Dakai the Magpie brought to Taren.
At this point, we know that Dakai is working under Taren. He also knows about Lana, who is a spy from Aureatia.
Regnejee the Wing of Sunset is also leading Taren’s wyvern army. Back in the day, Taren found Regnejee and Curte together and took care of them.
Lithia also has mercenaries, and they are Shalk the Sound Slicer and Higuare the Pelagic, courtesy of Lana, who brought them to Taren.
Taren also looks forward to Kia the World Word's arrival, but Elea the Red Tag wants to use the young elf for her personal gain.
Meanwhile, Hidow the Clamp has Nihilo the Vortical Stampede and Kuze the Passing Disaster on his side to change the situation with Lithia.
Hidow orders Nihilo to destroy Lithia for Aureatia’s glory after calling off the assassination attempt against Taren.
