Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is looking to be pretty promising, considering that more Spider-Man variants are set to appear in the Spider-Verse sequel. Not to mention, a potential crossover with a certain MCU star, aka Tom Holland’s MCU Peter Parker, as teased by one of Spider-Verse 2 producers Amy Pascal.
Holland’s MCU cameo rumor started when a recent report from insider Daniel Richtman teased that Across the Spider-Verse will heavily reference a particular film that affected the multiverse, which of course, points to none other than Spider-Man: No Way Home.
“[Fans will] have to wait a couple of years to see what we do,” Pascal said in a recent interview with Empire Magazine, “I am not going to comment on [Tom Holland’s Peter Parker cameo]! But I can tell you that Tom Holland does love these [Spider-Verse] movies…”
Pascal technically did not have to outwardly mention Tom Holland being a fan of the Spider-Verse franchise, which indicates the possibility that there MIGHT be a Holland cameo happening in Across the Spider-Verse, after all!

It is worth mentioning that Holland already shared his thoughts on the franchise way back in 2021, “Love them and I’m just waiting for the phone call… guys, call us. Put us in your movie, we want to be in it.”
Now, nothing has been set to stone yet, seeing as Marvel Studios and Sony have yet to officially announce Tom Holland being casted, even just for a cameo in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. However, given that the Spider-Verse franchise is literally about the multiverse, focusing on Spider-Men and Spider-Women variants, a Tom Holland cameo is due!
There is a high chance that Richtman’s teasing might be pertaining to Across the Spider-Verse repeating what No Way Home had already done, and it’s bringing the iconic Spider-Men together on screen. Unfortunately, for now, we’re going to have to wait until the sequel releases.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set for its theatrical release on June 2 this year!
