As fans are waiting for the release of the new Masters of the Universe movie, there are already questions about whether a sequel is in the works.
There has been a lot of anticipation for the new film, which is an attempt to reboot the He-Man franchise for the modern audience. There is hope that it will live up to the hype and expectations, and the early reactions from critics have suggested that fans will likely be satisfied by the new take.
However, some are already wondering whether they have a sequel in mind ahead of its release in a few weeks.
Is the New Masters of the Universe Movie Getting a Sequel?

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Masters of the Universe director Travis Knight opened up about the possibility of doing a sequel to his new movie.
While there are no official plans yet to develop a follow-up, he shared that he had a great experience working on the movie, and there are many stories to tell in the world.
"Look, it’s a big world. These are amazing characters. There are so many stories to tell. I feel like I approach all of these things as if I only ever get one shot at it," Knight said.
"And we gave everything we could to this movie, and if that’s all we ever do, I’m happy with that. But there are many, many stories to tell. And if the world demands more, we’d be happy to give it."
Nicholas Galitzine, who plays He-Man, has also expressed interest in doing a sequel and reiterated that there is more to explore in a potential sequel.
"I dipped a lot into He-Mans appearances in DC as well because first of all, there are some amazing illustrations there. But I love this notion of playing with what ultimate power does to you. There are so many ways you can go with Adam because he’s such a feeling person; he’s so driven by emotion," he said.
"We see a little bit, in the movie, what happens when someone experiences hubris, and I think that that’s a very fascinating thing to play with when someone has the ultimate power, and how does that affect their moral compass? And so there are just so many different ways we can go and so many characters that are introduced as well, which is quite exciting."
