Speaking recently with Entertainment Tonight, Donald Glover was asked for an update on the development of the Community movie, which has been delayed for years.
Fortunately, he confirmed that the project is still happening, and he continues to talk with his co-stars. He teased that the production will likely move forward soon.
"We were just on the text chain talking about it. We're working on it right now. I know everybody's been saying that for forever, but I swear to you, I'm not lying about this. I really think it's something that's going to happen soon," the actor said.
Glover has also shut down the notion that his busy schedule is the reason why the Community movie has been delayed.
"Everybody is hating on me on the internet, and it’s not me. They’re like, ‘We know that you’re the reason.’ Maybe I was last year — maybe — but not this time," he said.
