Soujirou the Willow Sword is known as the last swordsman of the Yagyuu Shinkage-ryu clan.
He is a visitor from the distant world who arrived with the darkest omens in the Great Labyrinth City, where Yuno of the Distant Talon resided.
He fights for pleasure, and he seeks to face a stronger opponent in the new world.
His urge to battle led him and Yuno to Aureatia, where Hidow hired him to assassinate Taren the Guarded, not only to avoid war but also to establish Aureatia's dominance.
Soujirou the Willow Sword Faces Shalk the Sound Slicer in Ishura Episode 7
In Ishura episode 7, Hidow the Clamp’s patrol men accompany Soujirou and Yuno to check out Lithia from Mage City.
It is a dangerous patrol routine, but the captain assures Soujirou and Yuno that nothing will come out of it and everything will be fine as per Lithia’s request.
However, Soujirou and Yuno come head-to-head with Shalk the Sound Slicer and Higuare the Pelagic before they can learn anything about Lithia.
Soujirou quickly realizes that Shalk and Higuare are an unfriendly duo that he needs to defeat.
True enough, Shalk attacks Soujirou, leaving Higuare to take care of the patrol men.
Higuare annihilated Hidow’s patrol men, with Yuno being the only survivor.
With this, Soujirou asked Yuno to leave immediately if she wanted to survive, but to no avail.
Worse, Higuare held Yuno hostage, asking her to ride the horse with him to Lithia.
Shalk and Soujirou are still fighting, but the former is gaining the upper hand.

However, fans are already discussing Soujirou’s status since his fight with Shalk was not entirely shown, which means anything is still possible.
Shalk may take Lana on her deal to betray Lithia, which means Soujirou could be alive and well.
A Reddit user even speculates that Shalk and Soujirou’s fight ended on a truce after Yuno and Higuare went to Lithia.
Meanwhile, some believe that Shalk and Soujirou are back at Lithia after the encounter. There’s a chance that Soujirou decided to talk with Shalk to learn more about what’s happening between Lithia and Aureatia.
