Following the recently aired season 26 finale, one of the burning questions that The Voice fans have is whether Snoop Dogg will be returning as a coach in season 27 early next year.
The famed rapper instantly became a fan-favorite coach among the viewers during the recent season due to his charm and unique style of mentoring that we don't usually see in other coaches.
Will Snoop Dogg Return as Coach in The Voice Season 27?
Unfortunately, Snoop Dogg is not slated to return as coach in The Voice season 27 when it returns in the spring of next year.
The singers that will serve as coaches in The Voice season 27 are Michael Buble, Adam Levine (returning after a ten-season hiatus), Kelsea Ballerini (making her debut), and John Legend.
However, Dogg has expressed his interest to return for another season when Carson Daly asked him about his future in the series during the finale.
"Man, this has been a great experience for me. I didn’t know what I was signing on to, but I do know. It feels like I could come back and do it again," the rapper said.
While Dogg is not expected to return next season, fans should not rule out any possibility in the future and perhaps he will return in season 28 in the fall of next year.
What Fans Should Expect in The Voice Season 27?
Aside from the four confirmed judges for the season and Daly's return as host, most of the details regarding season 27 of The Voice are still under wraps.
However, it's been confirmed that the new season will be premiering on NBC on February 3, 2025, starting with the blind auditions.
Season 26 champion Sofronio Velasquez also set a high standard so it would be interesting to see how the new season plays out and which talent will be following in his footsteps.
