With the first official look at Rosalina joining The Super Mario Galaxy movie, fans are left wondering, is she actually stronger than Peach?

Is Rosalina Stronger Than Peach in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie?
In the original universe of the Super Mario Bros, Princess Peach was commonly portrayed as a damsel in distress. Her reputation only changed when she was the complete opposite in the animated film adaptation, which showed her being a strong and capable leader ready to protect her kingdom.

Princess Rosalina, on the other hand, almost instantly captured the hearts of fans. From her official animated design to her original lore, who could resist her first look in the animation world?
Initially, fans almost always supported Rosalina, considering that she is viewed as the stronger and more independent princess, compared to Peach, whose damsel-in-distress status robbed her of her full physical potential that was shown in the official movie.
The question also comes from the fact that Rosalina was able to beat Mega Leg without so much as moving from her cornered spot in the trailer. She pulled out her wand and strategically defeated the enemy, which is why she appeared to be stronger than Peach. But the thing is, both women have their own strengths.
Rosalina can control the cosmic energy and her larger part of the lore, while Peach has the physical strength and endurance to keep up with the titular plumber brothers.
What Could Rosalina's Appearance Mean in the Super Mario Movie Sequel?
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a direct sequel to the events marked in the first film, where Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad must reunite once more to travel into space and stop Bowser Jr. from saving his father, while facing new threats in the galaxy.
The film's plotline was inspired by the Super Mario Galaxy video game, which sees the heroes meet Princess Rosalina, who will help them on their cosmic quest.
As for what role Rosalina could serve in the sequel, the cosmic-waving princess is more or less going to show an expansion of the Mario Bros. universe in the cinematic world.
Seeing as she is also in charge of protecting her own kingdom, it's only likely that the unity of our heroes could mean exactly that: joining forces once again to keep the Bowser family and new enemies from taking over.
