Tom Holland recently opened up about the plans to introduce a live-action version of Miles Morales to the MCU in the future.
While fans are looking forward to the actor's return as Peter Parker in next month's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, some are already wondering whether Miles Morales will finally be introduced in the MCU, especially with Holland's comments about his future as the web-slinger and his openness to pass the baton to a younger actor.
Is Miles Morales Finally Arriving in the MCU Soon?

In an interview with Hobby Consolas (via ComicBook.com), Holland was asked whether there are plans to finally bring Miles Morales to the MCU.
Aside from confirming that they are eyeing to introduce the live-action version of the character, the actor shared that he is also eager to work towards that goal.
"I think at this point in time, we’re being really open-minded about what the future looks like. I know that I have aspirations to bring Miles Morales into the universe, however that works out. We’ve got a lot of work to do to bring that to life. But yeah, I feel really strongly about it," the actor said.
"I feel incredibly grateful for the way I was introduced into this world and that I was shepherded by [Robert Downey Jr]. I would love to kind of return that favor to the next generation of people that get the luxury of making these movies. So that is definitely something that I’m really working towards."
While nothing official has been set yet, this is an exciting update for fans who have been looking forward to seeing Miles Morales in his live-action glory, and Holland himself is trying to make it happen.
For now, we should wait for updates regarding when they are planning to introduce the character, but it is likely that we will be hearing the plans once Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is released.
What to Expect in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will mark an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.
Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he's devoted himself entirely to protecting his city, a full-time Spider-Man, but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, Mark Ruffalo, and Liza Colon-Zayas.
The film is set to release in theaters on July 31. It will also be available on IMAX in select international markets.
