Mark Ruffalo has finally set the record straight on whether he is returning as Bruce Banner/Hulk in Avengers: Doomsday.
When the cast of the upcoming MCU film was announced last year, one of the most notable absences was Ruffalo, who has been a staple of the Avengers film series since the first installment and is considered one of its top members. Fans have been wondering if it was an indication that he will not appear or if his involvement is just being kept under wraps.
Is Mark Ruffalo Appearing in Avengers: Doomsday?

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine (via The Direct), Ruffalo confirmed that he won't be making an appearance in Avengers: Doomsday.
He was discussing his upcoming film Crime 101, which also co-stars his fellow MCU vet Chris Hemsworth, who is confirmed to return as Thor in a major role.
While he is not set to return as the Hulk in the upcoming MCU film, Ruffalo reiterated that he remains open to continuing to play the Hulk in the MCU, and it depends on the material he will be given.
"As long as they keep finding cool things to do with Hulk. It's given me so many gifts. You know, I probably wouldn't be in Crime 101 if it wasn't for [The Avengers]," the MCU vet said.
However, it should be pointed out that Ruffalo will return as the Hulk later this year through Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where he is expected to have a major role opposite Holland's Spider-Man.
So far, the details regarding Hulk's involvement in the story of Spider-Man: Brand New Day remain under wraps, but at the very least, we know that fans have not seen the last of him in the MCU.
