Beef star Charles Melton recently addressed the rumors that he is playing Beast in the highly anticipated X-Men reboot.
Marvel Studios is currently working on the long-awaited MCU reboot of X-Men, which is in the casting process. While some of the roles have been cast, the rumors regarding the casting for other roles are persisting on social media, with Melton emerging as an alleged contender for the Beast.
Now, the actor has finally reacted to the online speculations.
Is Charles Melton Joining the X-Men MCU Reboot?

In an interview with The Playlist, Charles Melton was asked about the rumors that he is playing Beast in the MCU reboot of X-Men.
While he didn't confirm his casting, he shared that he has seen the online rumors and expressed interest in working with Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and director Jake Schreier (who are also working on X-Men) again.
"It depends on what day or moment you catch me on, but right now I’d say I think I believe in Jake and Sunny so much, and I would love to work with them again, and many more times. They know that," he said.
"I try to stay away from the fodder as much as I can. So I’ve limited myself to Googling myself maybe 20 times a day instead of 50. It was really bad before."
Despite the vague answer from Melton, it still made some fans excited, as they see it as a hint that there is still a possibility that he will be playing the fan-favorite mutant, and he was just dodging the question to avoid mentioning a spoiler.
There are rumors that Marvel Studios will do a casting announcement during the D23 presentation this weekend, so fans should stay tuned on whether we will see a confirmation of Melton's involvement.
What to Expect in the X-Men MCU Reboot

So far, plot details for the X-Men MCU reboot are still under wraps, and it is expected to take place sometime after Avengers: Secret Wars.
Thunderbolts* director Jake Schreier is currently attached to helm the project. Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and The Bear co-showrunner Joanna Calo are writing the screenplay.
So far, Sadie Sink (as Jean Grey), Samara Weaving (as Emma Frost) and Kit Connor (as Cyclops) have been cast in the film.
Last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave a tease on what fans should expect from their reboot of the X-Men property.
"We had a great experience with him on Thunderbolts*. And if you saw that movie, what he did with those character interactions, he also has his pulse on, shall we say, a younger demographic," he said.
"He’s younger than me for sure, but he’s tapped into that in a way that I think was important for Thunderbolts*, much more important for X-Men. Because X-Men, as it was in the comics, will be a very youth-oriented, focused, and cast movie."
