The family of the American actor divulged in a lengthy statement published on Thursday that he has frontotemporal dementia. They said:

The statement also said if Bruce Willis “could” respond to his situation he would want to spread awareness and bring “global attention and connectedness” to others suffering from the “debilitating disease.”
