Bartender: Glass of God Re-Introduces Ryu Sasakura, the Genius Bartender
The first episode of Bartender: Glass of God introduces Ryu Sasakura, a genius bartender who doesnāt seem like a talented bartender when heās out of his uniform, at least in the eyes of Miwa Kurushima and Yukari Higuchi.
Kurushima and Higuchi are looking for a qualified bartender who can make the Glass of God, as the chairman of Hotel Cardinal requested.
They've already rejected 30 applications, and they're frantic to find the perfect individual with the proper skills for the job.
This led Kurushima and Higuchi to Eden Hall, a small pub in Ginza, where they met Ryu Sasakura for the third time since meeting him in the park.
Surprisingly, Sasakura is the same as the 29-year-old chief bartender who worked on the top floor of the five-star Ratz Hotel on Paris' outskirts.
He gets excellent online reviews, as does Eden Hall, despite its inconsistent schedule.
After tasting Sasakuraās drinks, Kurushima aims to hire him at Hotel Cardinal.
Could Sasakura be the talented bartender who can make the Glass of God? Stay tuned!

Is the Bartender: Glass of God Anime a Remake or Sequel to the Bartender 2006 Anime?
The Bartender: Glass of God 2024 anime is not a continuation of the original 2006 Bartender anime series. In fact, the first episode verified this with Ryu Sasakura's reintroduction.
While some fans consider Bartender: Glass of God a remake, the anime is more properly referred to as a re-adaptation of the original manga series.
Those who have read the manga and seen the original series think that it should be referred to as a re-adaptation rather than a remake of the 2006 anime, as they consider the original to be less than an adaptation.
Meanwhile, unlike the new Spice and Wolf anime, Bartender: Glass of God did not keep its previous cast of voice actors.
Ryu Sasakura is now voiced by Terashima Takuma (Atsushi Sendou in Tokyo Revengers), and Miwa Kurushima is portrayed by Yoshino Nanjou (Yamaki Subara in Classroom Crisis).
