The six-episode series of Insomnia airs weekly, specifically every Thursday on Paramount+. This means fans can expect Insomnia episode 4 this coming Thursday, June 6, 2024!

Insomnia Ep 3 Recap Before Ep 4 Comes Out

From the adapted work of Sarah Pinborough's thriller novel of the same name, the six-episode series delivers the story of Emma Averell (played by BAFTA Award winner Vicky McClure), a turning 40-year-old career-driven mother who ends up suffering the same fate her mom did when they reached the same age.

The intense premiere of Insomnia proves just how much of a thriller the adapted story is, and we are about to enter halfway through its main storyline.

Insomnia has yet to reveal the true crime behind the death of Emma's mother, Patricia (Corinna Marlowe), which makes the cliffhanger on episode 3 titled This Family is So F*cked Up all the more interesting once it unfolds the mystery in the following weeks.

Emma finds out that it was her sister, Phoebe, who told the cops about her second visit to their mother's hospital bed, which made the detectives more suspicious about the former's alibi that night.

Her kids, Will and Chloe, are gravely affected by her situation, with Will continuously drawing scary pictures of his mother's sleepwalking and Chloe leaning on her teenage rebellion (unbeknownst to her parents she had been having an affair with an older man).

Meanwhile, the security cameras Emma set up in her house had been doing them a favor as she kept track of everything she's been doing in her sleepwalking. This time, Robert finds out, that even before sleepwalking Emma could put a pillow over Will while sleeping.

With Robert now aware of his wife's condition, what could episode 4 have in store in Insomnia? We'll have to find out once it airs on June 6, 2024.
