Insidious: The Red Door Chapter 5 is set to premiere on July 7, 2023, right in the middle of Summer.
The first Insidious movie was released on April 1, 2011, while the second film was released on September 13, 2013 and Insidious Chapter 3 came out on June 5, 2015.
Insidious: The Last Key premiered early on January 2018.
When Did Insidious Chapter 5 Complete Filming?
Insidious: The Red Door was first announced back in October 2020 and was originally expected to come out sometime in 2022. However, due to the pandemic and other CoVID-19 related reasons, production for Insidious: The Red Door did not officially start until the Spring of 2022.
Insidious Chapter 5 Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Insidious: The Red Door?
The Lambert family may make a comeback in Insidious: The Red Door.
Most of the main cast members from the first two Insidious films are returning to reprise their roles.
Patrick Wilson will lead the cast and still play the patriarch of the family, Josh Lambert. He will be joined by Ty Simpkins as Dalton Lambert, along with Rose Byrne as Renai Lambert, Josh’s wife, and Andrew Astor as Foster Lamber, Dalton’s younger brother.
Some of the new faces who will be joining in the horror are Hiam Bass, from Blade Runner, along with AJ Dyer, from FBI, though we don’t know who their characters will be yet.
Insidious Chapter 5 Crew: Who are the Creatives Behind the Scenes of Insidious: The Red Door?
Insidious: The Red Door was written by Scott Teems based on the story by Leigh Whannel. The movie is directed by Insidious’ very own Patrick Wilson, making this project his directorial debut.
Since Wilson is taking over the newest movie of the franchise, he clearly has the blessing and guidance of the geniuses behind the first Insidious movies, Jason Blum and James Wan.
In an interview with Deadline, Jason Blum (who is producing the film for Blumhouse), talks about the continued collaboration between the original members of the cast and crew.

Insidious Chapter 5 Plot: What Will be the Plot of the Fifth Insidious Movie?
Insidious: The Red Door reunites us with the Lambert family, a decade later after the events in the second film. We see Dalton all grown up, heading off the college, after he and his father successfully suppressed their memories and their abilities to fly off into The Further.
It has been years since Dalton has last explored The Further, but will the stresses of attending college and being in a new environment wake up his abilities? Or will the ghosts that are going after the Lambert family finally catch up to them?

Yes - there is a trailer for Insidious: The Red Door was released on April 19, 2023, a few months before the actual release of the horror film.
In it the trailer, we see Josh and Dalton struggling to move on and reconnect until another string of strange events forces family secrets to the surface.
