The official previews for the latest Magic: The Gathering set, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, continue today with the reveal of the fourth ultimatum spell from the set: "Splendid Ultimatum". This Jeskai-colored (red/white/blue) Sorcery will you draw 5 cards, gain 5 life, and it deals 5 damage to any target. Check it out:

It looks like Jeskai Control will return to the Standard meta with this powerful card.
There's also a bunch of multi-colored set revealed recently, including some weird cat breeds, wedge-colored enchantments, and burn spells.

The recent previews continue to reveal that Ikoria is going to be a mechanic-heavy set, and I think it's good timing for Wizards to release this set before a more beginner-friendly Core Set 2020, which is scheduled to release this July.

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is set to launch on Magic: The Gathering Arena on April 16, for tabletop play in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong on April 17, and for tabletop play everywhere else on May 15.
