Google Korea unveiled the list of most searched Korean actors in the first half of 2022.
This year was full of entertaining dramas highlighting various genres as well as controversial issues surrounding K-drama stars.
As obtained by Kstartrend, here's a rundown of the top 10 most searched Korean actors this 2022 as cited by Google Korea.
#1 Hyun Bin
Reigning the top spot is none other than Hyun Bin.
The top star recently made waves after his star-studded wedding with Son Ye Jin.
With this, the newlyweds stirred up social media as fans are eager to get the latest update regarding the pair; this includes Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's honeymoon, who spent two weeks around in the U.S.

#2 Lee Min Ho
Following Hyun Bin is his fellow Hallyu star Lee Min Ho.
The 34-year-old actor made headlines after his K-drama comeback, Pachinko gained positive responses.
In addition, viewers and critics lauded how Lee Min Ho perfectly portrayed the role of wealthy entreprenuer Ko Hansu, who is tangled up in an illicit affair with Sunja, played by Kim Min Ha.
#3 Cha Eun Woo
Despite his last K-drama appearance in 2021, Cha Eun Woo made it to the top 3 most searched K-drama actors.
Interestingly, he is set to make a small screen comeback after confirming to play the lead star in the upcoming action fantasy K-drama Island.
One of the highly anticipated series this 2022, the star-studded K-drama features Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee and Sung Joon as the lead stars.
Booked and busy in the coming years, Cha Eun Woo is also offered to join the webtoon adaptation of Sweet and Sour Chicken and as a supporting character in the new film Decibel.
#4 Park Seo Joon
Of course, the list would not be complete without Park Seo Joon.
The South Korean heartthrob is not only starring in multiple projects this year but also making his Hollywood debut.
Park Seo Joon is among the cast of MCU's The Marvels, with Brie Larson as the lead.
As mentioned, he also has a movie with IU titled Dream and a thriller sci-fi movie Concrete Utopia with Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young.
Interestingly, as for his K-drama comeback, Park Seo Joon will team up with Han So Hee and Wi Ha Joon for the upcoming series, K Project.
#5 Song Kang
Being the so-called "son of Netflix," Song Kang landed in the top 5 of most searched Korean actors this 2022.
He recently starred in the rom-com series Forecasting Love and Weather with Park Min Young and is set to return to the much-awaited sequel of Sweet Home Season 2 with Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young and other new casts.
#6 Ahn Hyo Seop
Landing the lead role in the smash hit K-drama A Business Proposal with Kim Sejeong, Ahn Hyo Seop ranked sixth among the most searched Korean actors this 2022.
Viewers lauded how the duo perfectly portrayed their roles as CEO Kang Tae Mu and the bubbly secretary Shin Ha Ri.
With his stellar performance, Ahn Hyo Seop is set to headline another K-drama with Jeon Yeo Been and Kang Hoon.
A Time Called You is a thriller mystery romance that follows the story of a woman who couldn't move on from the death of her boyfriend.
In addition, Ahn Hyo Seop's new drama also includes reprising his role as Seo Woo Jin in the medical series Dr. Romantic 3.
#7 Nam Joo Hyuk
Another K-drama that made a sure hit this 2022 is Twenty Five, Twenty One, which stars Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri.
Due to this, the South Korean heartthrob landed at number 7.
Interestingly, rumor sparked that he is set to reunite with Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo's co-star and ex-girlfriend Lee Sung Kyung for the action thriller series Vigilante.
#8 Lee Jong Suk
Like Cha Eun Woo, the equally talented and stunning Lee Jong Suk went on hiatus but managed to enter the top eight due to his K-drama comeback.
The 32-year-old star has an upcoming series with Girls' Generation Yoona for the MBC series Big Mouth.

Continuing his popularity in K-drama, he recently confirmed his appearance for the rom-com series King The Land opposite Girls' Generation Yoona.
#10 Park Bo Gum
Lastly, capping off the top 10 most searched Korean actors is none other than the beloved BoGummy.
Park Bo Gum completed his mandatory military service in February 2022 and is now ready for his upcoming activities.
First on the list is being one of the hosts at the 58th Baeksang Arts awards alongside Bae Suzy and Shin Dong Yup.
