- Quick Answer: Terry Matalas confirmed VisionQuest connects to Agatha All Along through Tommy Maximoff but stayed silent on Avengers: Doomsday while teasing a potential second season.
The showrunner of VisionQuest recently teased the upcoming MCU show's connections to Avengers: Doomsday and Agatha All Along.
As fans are anticipating the premiere of the Vision spinoff series, there are also questions on whether its story will be standalone or if it will have significant connections to other MCU properties, especially the upcoming Avengers movie and Agatha All Along, another WandaVision spinoff. Now, we are finally getting some clarity.
How VisionQuest is Connected to Avengers: Doomsday and Agatha All Along

In a recent interview with The Direct, VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas was asked about the upcoming MCU show's connection to the other projects in the franchise, especially Avengers: Doomsday and Agatha All Along.
In the case of Avengers: Doomsday, he refused to confirm whether there would be any direct connection.
"That I can't comment on at all," he said.
However, Matalas confirmed that the upcoming series will have a connective tissue to Agatha All Along, particularly to the character of Tommy Maximoff.
"There's definitely connective tissue. Specifically, when it comes to—let me think about what I'm allowed to say,—if you watched Agatha, you certainly know there's a Tommy Maximoff out there somewhere. So that may or may not play into this," he said.
When asked whether the upcoming series will have a limited run or has a possibility of getting a second season, Matalas said, "I think that's up to the Marvel and Disney Gods. It doesn't necessarily have to [stand on its own]. There is a group of characters in situations that are certainly on their own island, if you will. Trying to figure out how to say this... You could very much see these characters again, if you want."
What to Expect in VisionQuest

In VisionQuest, the avenging android returns to the silver screen. The upcoming Marvel Television series marks the final installment in the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along.
Paul Bettany leads the cast, which also includes Diane Morgan, Emily Hampshire, Faran Tahir, Henry Lewis, James D’Arcy, and James Spader. The ensemble is rounded out by Jonathan Sayer, Lauren Morais, Mary McDonnell, Orla Brady, Ruaridh Mollica, T'Nia Miller, and Todd Stashwick.
So far, no release date has been set yet, but it is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year. It will consist of eight episodes.
