Rick Moranis Confirms Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Return with Awesome Tweet

It looks like the sequel to Honey I Shrunk The Kids is still moving forward and now there's a synopsis for the new Disney film. Unfortunately, the description also reveals that things haven't been going so well for Wayne Szalinski.

The intel comes for The DisInsider, which reports that Rick Moranis is currently in negotiations to reprise his role as the quirky inventor who accidentally used his invention to shrink his children. In addition to the update, the report also shared the possible synopsis for the new film.

The alleged synopsis for the new Honey I Shrunk The Kids movie reads as follows:

You read that right: "dealing with the grief of losing his wife." Unfortunately, it sounds like Diane will not be a part of the sequel. We're not sure if this means she left Wayne (which could be more acceptable) or if she died after all these years. Hopefully, we'll get more updates in the future.

The Honey I Shrunk The Kids sequel has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
