Disney+ just dropped the first official trailer of Home Sweet Home Alone on Tuesday. It confirms that the upcoming movie is a sequel of the hit 1990 movie Home Alone starring Macaulay Caulkin because Devin Ratray appears in the new film as grown-up Buzz McAllister, Screen Crush reported.

The holidays are arriving sooner than expected because the American Christmas comedy film directed by Dan Mazer will be released on Nov. 12 exclusively on Disney+. The film is only four weeks away!
Home Sweet Home Alone Plot: What to Expect?
The upcoming series is the reimagining of the beloved holiday franchise, as confirmed by the official synopsis. It shares the same vibes and feels, so this is the film to watch if you miss Home Alone.
"Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple attempting to retrieve a priceless heirloom set their sights on the Mercer family's home, it is up to Max to protect it from the trespassers…and he will do whatever it takes to keep them out," Disney+'s plot synopsis read.
"Hilarious hijinks of epic proportions ensue, but despite the absolute chaos, Max comes to realize that there really is no place like home sweet home."
Max Mercer (Archie Yates) is brilliant and fearless for his age. In one scene, he says, "This is my house. I have to defend it."

Archie Yates plays Max Mercer, the child who will be left home alone. Other cast members include Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.
According to some outlets, Macaulay Culkin will be making a cameo appearance in the new film. Also, Ratray reprises his role as grown-up Buzz.
