Here's the Voice Cast for Marvel's What If...? Episode 5
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/ Hulk
He was the first to be introduced as in this timeline, he was sent by Heimdall to an Earth where zombies took over the planet. It is in the same vein as that of Avengers: Infinity War, except it was an apocalypse. Banner travelled with the rest of the survivors and later, he discovered that Hulk is invincible to zombies since they cannot pierce through his skin. He fought zombie Wanda and he took her blows so easy.
Jeffrey Wright as Uatu the Watcher
The narrator of the show, Uatu the Watcher describes how different the world Hulk was sent into. It was uncanny that the place was deserted and the heroes are full of zombies. The cliffhanger in the end, as seen by Uatu, meant that it might be the end of such universe. Will it be?
Chadwick Boseman ad T'Challa
It is another episode where Chadwick Boseman lent his voice in and it seems only yesterday, he was with us. The late king voiced T'Challa in another episode as it turns out he survived the attack of the zombies but was taken by Vision to be fed to Wanda. It was him who warned Bucky that being there was a trap. One of the last three survivors, they are headed to Wakanda where they plan to broadcast the cure. However, zombie Thanos awaits.
Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne
Her research was the start of it all. It follows the same storyline as that of Ant-Man and the Wasp, except, Janet Van Dyne contracted a virus in the quantum realms and when Hank Pym went to get her, they brought to the surface the deadly zombie contagion infecting Scott first then the rest of Earth after the Avengers themselves became flesh-eating monsters, no one stood a chance on the virus. She sacrificed herself to get them to Vision.

Paul Rudd as Scott Lang
It was a surprise to see Scott, especially when it was shown that he was the second person next to Hank Pym to become a zombie. He was such a comedic relief; his dad jokes and zombie puns were superb! One could easily go laughing on the floor. Well, classic Scott. Only a head cured by Vision, his new companion is the cape of Doctor Strange flying him to get him somewhere else. He survived with Spider-Man and T'Challa.
Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes
The Winter Soldier, it's no surprise he is one of the survivors in the apocalypse. He's a killing machine and he can shoot guns. He knows how to put the zombies to their final resting place that he did this to Captain America and took his shield. Still ruthless as ever, he sacrificed himself distracting Wanda so the rest could go to the jet. His fate remains unknown as Wanda threw him far away, not seen whether he survived or not.
Paul Bettany as Vision
The one who found the cure, Vision sent out signals to other survivors about it. He was based in New Jersey, the place where Arnim Zola was found by Cap and Nat in Captain America: Winter Soldier, and there he figured out a way to reverse the process of being zombified. However, it turned out that he has a different agenda: feed the survivors to Wanda. In the end, he, himself, took out the mind stone off of his forehead to save the world.
Danai Gurira as Okoye
The head of the Dora Milaje, Okoye, is one of the few survivors who remained and it's no surprise considering the fighting prowess she has. He went to look for T'Challa who heeded the call of the zombie apocalypse and found out about what happened. Still not having found the body of the king, she did not give up looking for him. In the end, she found T'Challa but ended up slaughtered by Wanda.
Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan
Happy remains to be a personal chauffer of everyone, even in the zombie apocalypse. Presumably, he stayed with Spider-Man or was with him when the zombies attacked. However, when they reached the train station and split up, he was an unfortunate casualty when zombie Hawkeye targeted him and the only weapon that he had was a hand blaster from Stark.
Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter
Being the agent that she was, being a survivor in the zombie apocalypse would be easy for her, unless a hero zombie gets in the way. For Sharon Carter, this is what happened. He came face to face with Hawkeye and got hit, almost being a casualty in the process. It was Cap that took her to being a zombie and Hope got inside of her mouth to kill her off. "I'm covered with Sharon," said Hope.
David Dastmalchian as Kurt
The friend of Scott Lang survived the apocalypse as well. He was their machine guy. He compared the zombies to Baba Yaga, a Russian folklore, like what he described Ghost in the film. In the end. She got eaten by Wanda when she got out of her enclosure.
Hudson Thames as Spider-Man/ Peter Parker
Of all the characters, only Peter was not voiced by his real-life counterpart. Tom Holland's contract would possibly be breached if he would do the voice of Peter in What If..? as his portrayal only includes that of films. Instead of facing another lawsuit, Disney deemed it best to have Hudson Thames voice Spider-Man, he sounds like Tom Holland, too!
Spider-Man is the heart of the episode. He was their ray of sunshine in the darkest days of Earth. He remained with a jolly personality and in the end, he survived with it. He recognized the loss of Uncle Ben and all the ones he loved, including Aunt May who presumably became a zombie. Hope saw hope in Peter. With the mind stone in his hands, they fly to Wakanda not knowing the threat they would be facing there.
