Harry Potter Writer JK Rowling Hints At Four More Stories She’d Like To Tell

The Harry Potter book series might have ended with the publication of The Deathly Hallows back in 2007, but with the Harry Potter film franchise continuing with Fantastic Beast's upcoming sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, it seems like author J.K. Rowling is hoping for more.

Rowling was out to help The Crimes of Grindelwald's promotional campaign when she appeared on The Today Show to speak about the upcoming debut of a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts 2, and there the author dropped a reveal that might excite everyone into the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

"I know about the next four things I'm writing; it's all backed up in there. I'm scared I'll die before I get it all out," the writer admitted on the television show.

Rowling was then pressed by the Today Show's hosts with a question asking whether or not she could be writing more Harry Potter content "if she wanted."

"I kind of am. I'm still in Wizard World: that's why were here today," Rowling replied.

Harry Potter fans have been hoping for more spinoffs from the author, and not just additions to the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Rowling could be writing more Harry Potter stories, however, Rowling is too pre-occupied with her new project by "Robert Galbraith," the pen name and alter ego that the writer uses to write her crime fiction books like the Cormoran strikes series.

Guess Harry Potter fans have to be content with the Fantastic Beasts franchise and The Cursed Child stage production.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald comes zapping into cinemas on November 16, 2018.
