HBO has officially announced that Bonnie Hill will step into the role of Ginny Weasley, the youngest of the Weasley family, beginning in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, aka season 2.
Hill replaces Gracie Cochrane, who originally filmed the character for season 1 before opting to step away due to unforeseen and undisclosed personal circumstances.
Joining Hill is Billy Barratt (Bring Her Back, Invasion), who has been tapped to portray Tom Marvolo Riddle, the mysterious former Hogwarts student whose enchanted diary drives one of Harry Potter's oddest mysteries.
In addition, BAFTA winner Lenny Rush (Doctor Who, Enola Holmes 2) will bring the fan-favorite house-elf Dobby to life.
