God of War Art Director Imagines Ironheart for the MCU

God of War art director Raf Grassetti had recently caught the attention of the comic book fandom with his realistic takes on the villains from Batman the Animated Series. With him possibly being done with that gallery, he's now come up with a realistic take on Marvel's Ironheart.

Check it out:

Like Iron Man, Ironheart has had several mock-ups of her armor, this one is a tweak of the latest iteration. While Ironheart has had the classic gold and red colors, she has recently been sporting a suit that is pink and black with yellow highlights. This one uses the classic red and put the reactor piece back in the center (Riri's was literally over her heart).

For now, there are rumors coming out that Marvel Studios is planning to introduce Riri Williams to the MCU via a War Machine series. We haven't gotten any significant updates on that yet, but we can't really expect anything to move forward seeing as COVID-19 has shut down work for a huge chunk of Hollywood. Hopefully, we get an update soon, but as of now, rumors are really all that we have.

Personally, I'm unsure about how Riri can have a meaningful introduction to the MCU. A lot of people want young Morgan Stark to be Iron Man's successor, even if Riri has been given that role by Marvel comics. I guess we'll just have to see where it goes.

For now, the next MCU film, Black Widow is set for a release on Nov. 6.
