Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Is a New Take on the Superhero Genre

Super Sentai series are known for featuring a team of heroes with a unique theme and storyline, but they share common elements such as teamwork, transformation sequences, and epic battles against villains.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! appears to be a parody of that genre. In it, we see the story from the perspective of Fighter D, an anti-hero (literally) who starts to rebel against the good guys known as the Dragon Keepers.

The story starts when an army of monsters invaded Earth 13 years ago. The Dragon Keepers, a team of heroes that protect humanity, joined forces and managed to defeat the monsters in just a year.

As the Dragon Keepers gained immense popularity, they had to maintain a certain image with the public. To do this, they forced the monsters to act out embarrassing defeats every Sunday.

Fed up with this routine, Fighter D decided to take matters into his own hands. He infiltrated the Dragon Keepers to rebel not only against the corrupt heroes but also against society as a whole.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is based on the manga of the same name by Negi Haruba, the creator of the popular harem anime, The Quintessential Quintuplets.
