Glen Powell recently set the record straight regarding his rumored romance with Sydney Sweeney after being spotted together at an event.
There have been rumors lately that a romance might be brewing for the Anyone But You stars following reports that Sweeney has broken up with Jonathan Davino and was spotted attending the wedding of Powell's sister.

During his recent appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, Powell was asked about the romance speculations between her and Sweeney.
While he played coy in his response, he clarified that Sweeney and his sister, Leslie, are also friends, which is why she was present at the wedding.
"You know, timing is everything in this world. [Leslie] and Syd are obviously great friends, and it was a hell of a wedding," the Twisters star said.
Powell also shared that he served as the groomsman and he was "like the master of ceremonies" during the ceremony.
"You know, the Powells know how to do it right, and so all the people that love her were there. The Powells know how to crank it up!"
Powell's mother, Cyndy, has also clarified in another interview that her son and Sweeney are simply just friends and there are no romantic sparks between them.
"[There is] nothing going on behind closed doors. We love Sydney. We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend. We all were together so much, and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s really a friend and we all enjoy her," she said.

Recent reports claimed that Sweeney had called off her engagement with Davino to focus on her career.
According to sources cited in People's report, the actress is "exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects."
"What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it," the source added. Sweeney is "in the middle of this magical career that she could only dream of a few years ago." Therefore, "this is what she wants to focus on right now."
The actress is "not ready to settle down," and "they only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn't split because there was no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now."
So far, neither Sweeney nor Davino has commented on the reports surrounding their breakup or officially released a statement about their status.
