The beloved video game Ghost of Tsushima is finally getting its long-awaited anime adaptation years after its launch.
There have been rumors for a while that it will be getting a TV adaptation at the same time as the film version that is also currently in the works with John Wick director Chad Stahelski attached.

What is the Ghost of Tsushima Anime Series About?
Crunchyroll recently confirmed that the anime adaptation titled Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is currently in the works.
The series is produced in collaboration with Aniplex, Sony Music, and PlayStation Productions. Takanobu Mizuno is directing the series while Gen Urobuchi is writing the story composition.
Legends will be inspired by the multiplayer mode of the video game. There is no voice cast attached yet to the project, and it will be announced at a later time.

The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan—until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting—the way of the Ghost—as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.
When is Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Coming Out?
There is no release date set yet for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, but it is slated to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027.

Considering that it is still in development, it's still early for details regarding its release, but there is no doubt that it is going to be one of the most highly-anticipated anime in the next three years.
