George Clooney admitted that his dyed black hair looks "bad," as fans have continued to discuss his hairstyle for the past few months.

The Hollywood A-lister currently stars in the Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck. His role requires him to dye his hair black for the time being while the production is ongoing.

What Does George Clooney Really Think of His Dyed Black Hair?

Clooney made a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he was wearing a cap to cover up his dyed black hair.

"I'm wearing a hat to hide my bad hair," he said the moment he sat on the chair. The audience laughed at the actor's quip.

Clooney added, "It's bad, it's still dark on top, but it's grey on the bottom." He also revealed that his hair was dyed black "about two months ago, to get that really nice looking grow-out of grey."

When Meyers complimented his black hair, the actor dismissed it, "Sure. But off stage, it looks like you're trying to get away with something. It really looks bad, it looks like you're going through some horrible mid-life crisis. I'm 64 — mid-life is a little stretch."

Clooney also revealed that his wife, Amal, found his dyed black hair to be funny when he first showed it to her.

"She thinks it's funny. She'll be glad when it's gone. The last show is Sunday. I'll do a matinee, by the time we go to the Tonys that night, it'll be gone," he said.

When is Good Night, and Good Luck Ending Its Run?

Clooney's play, Good Night, and Good Luck, is set to end its run on Broadway this Sunday, June 8.

It is the same day as the Tony Awards ceremony, where he is also nominated for his performance in the play.

However, Clooney is not optimistic about his chances of taking home the trophy. "I'm not thinking very positively about winning a Tony," he said.

Despite that, we can safely say that Clooney's hair will likely go back to normal very soon now that he will no longer need to dye it black all the time.
