Miley Cyrus has addressed the rumors surrounding her feud with her father Billy Ray and other family members.
There have been rumors recently that there is a feud brewing within the Cyrus family, and Billy Ray's relationship with his children has been strained for the last few months. However, it looks like that might not be the case according to Miley herself.
Miley Cyrus Sets the Record Straight on Rumored Family Feud
In her recent post on Instagram Story, Cyrus set the record straight surrounding the rumors that she and her parents have been on bad terms.
She denied that her relationship with her parents has been strained and that they are still on good terms, despite what the rumors may have suggested.
"I rarely comment on rumors, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us," the singer wrote in her post.
"Like a lot of moms, she doesn’t know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me - simple, coincidental, and uninteresting."
Cyrus also addressed her current relationship with her father, Billy Ray.
She continued, "My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I’m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing."
"Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family," the singer concluded.
Billy Ray Cyrus Says His Family is 'Close to Full Healing'
In his Instagram post, Billy Ray Cyrus also addressed the rumors surrounding the alleged dysfunctions in their family.
He also shut down the rumors and gave kind words to his family members in his lengthy post.
"I’m so proud of Miley and her guts and courage. Her wisdom and strength to bring it when our family needed it most. We are so close to full healing. We have all been through a lot," he wrote.
"still very much believe in the power of prayer and respectfully ask if you do also, and have an extra prayer for the Cyrus family, I humbly would accept."
Cyrus also described his ex-wife Tish as "the very definition of a strong mother."
"Trust me, I’m the first to admit being married to me was not easy. I’m very good at making mistakes. A very imperfect man. Thank goodness, somewhere along the line my mama also taught me 'life is a series of adjustments.'" he said.
