Filming for the 10th Fast & Furious film started last April 20, 2022. Vin DIesel (who plays Dom in the franchise) shared a photo of the film's logo on his Instagram account with the caption "Day One."

This is, however, the second to the last Fast & Furious movies that were confirmed. But there is plenty of room for more spinoffs and continuations exploring the back stories of the other characters in the show.

Originally, Universal Pictures announced that the release date of the new Fast & Furious film will be on April 7, 2023. But after Justin Lin stepped down as its director, many were worried if this release date could still be possible.

Thankfully, the film was able to get a new director, Louis Leterrier. The release date was also pushed back to May 19, 2023.

Back in 2020, there were reports that Tom Holland will be joining a Fast & Furious movie. But considering he didn't star in the ninth film, F9, the rumor died down.

Since the rumor wasn't addressed, however, there's always that possibility that Holland could be part of the franchise. After all, Brie Larson and Jason Momoa have been included in the cast. So there's always room for one more big star.
