Star Wars fans lost it after Vanity Fair released a special cover featuring the past and present stars of the billion-dollar franchise. The said cover was unveiled just days before Star Wars Celebration and puts characters we never thought we'd see together — Din Djarin, Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Naturally, the coming together of actors Ewan McGregor, Pedro Pascal, Rosario Dawson, and Diego Luna became a hot trending topic on social media but the interaction people were so thrilled about was the one between McGregor and Pascal.
On Twitter, fans couldn't contain their excitement over the fact that the Jedi Master and The Mandalorian himself have finally come face to face nearly a year after their appearance on Variety's Actors on Actors web series. Check out some of the reactions below:

Unfortunately, this is the closest thing we'll get to a Mando and Obi-Wan interaction in the Star Wars franchise because both characters existed in completely different timelines which is kind of a bummer.
Still, it's nice to know that the past and present of Star Wars came together even just for a promo shoot and if that doesn't give you the chills and excite you about the future of the franchise, I don't know what will.
The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi will begin streaming on May 27th, exclusively on Disney+. Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to drop in late 2022 or early 2023.
