A father who accused Ezra Miller of "grooming" their child has withdrawn the charges against the actor.

In 2022, Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle claimed in their filing in a court document that The Flash actor had been "manipulating" and "grooming" their child Takota since they met at Standing Rock Reservation.

The parents alleged that Miller took "an immediate and apparently innocent liking" to Takota, who was 12 when they met, and displayed "cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior."

Takota pushed back on the idea as they issued a statement sharing that Miller "has only provided loving support and invaluable protection."

Chase Iron Eyes Drops Grooming Charges Against Ezra Miller

In his recent post on Instagram, Chase revealed that they have dropped the charges against Miller and explained what led to that decision.

"I want to offer this on the drama 3 years ago when I filed a petition and claimed that Ezra appeared to have 'groomed' Tokata," he wrote in the caption.

"I made that statement in my pleading (in a time of absolute war) based on information from a witness who then recanted and said nothing happened that they could infer anything inappropriate from. Thus, I immediately withdrew the court filings."

Chase concluded, "Now we are doing our level best to move on, to reconcile, to heal while remaining supportive as a father; as long as Tokata’s good we’re good."

Miller and Tokata are currently working together in the band Hundred in the Hand, which the parents support.

So far, Miller has not commented on Chase's decision to drop the charges against them.

The actor has also not made any film or TV appearances since the release of The Flash last year where they notably did not participate in the press tour for the project. They are not expected to reprise the titular hero in the new DCU franchise.
