Even Shazam! Director David Sandberg Wants To Know What Happens To Ant-Man In Avengers: Endgame

The anticipation over Avengers: Endgame just keeps on growing. Now that the trailer for the second installment in the Russo Brother's two-part Avengers movie has finally been released, almost everyone's started itching to know just how exactly Captain America (Chris Evans) and the rest of the Avengers undo Thanos' massacre in the film. Even DC's Shazam! director David F. Sandberg wants to know what exactly is going on with Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) in Avengers: Endgame.

Despite the ongoing rivalry between the Marvel and DC fanbases, Sandberg has shown his support for the DC Extended Universe's neighbor, declaring his belief that Marvel Studio's Captain Marvel movie would be nothing but success while joking that Shazam is the industry's original "Captain Marvel."

Now, it looks like Sandberg is busy raising the banner for Endgame, openly admitting that he can't wait for the film to arrive in cinemas.

When asked by a fan on Twitter about what movie Sandberg would watch after Shazam's premiere, the director's response came as a bit of a surprise.

"Avengers: Endgame. Can't properly relax until I know how Ant-Man came back," the filmmaker wrote back on the social media platform.

Marvel fans have long since speculated Ant-Man's role in Endgame, but at this point, we're still unsure just how Scott Lang managed to arrive at the Avengers mansion considering the fact that he was turned to dust at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Could Scott have used the Quantum Realm?

Let's wait and see.

Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas April 26, 2019.
