When it comes to returning to the MCU, Elizabeth Olsen always prioritizes what would be better for the fans. Considering that the actress had already explored other roles outside the billion-dollar franchise since her last appearance in Multiverse of Madness, could she possibly make her official comeback in the next installment?
Could Elizabeth Olsen Reprise the Scarlet Witch in the MCU Soon?

In her recent appearance on PEOPLE, WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen confirmed that despite the ongoing "superhero fatigue" surrounding the franchise, she is committed to still playing the Scarlet Witch.
"It is something that I love, and it's something I always want to return to," Olsen explained, "I think the thing that's been so special about the last five years is I've gotten to do so much with the character that I never thought I would. There are still character through lines that have happened in the comics that I'd love to do, that I think fans also want to."
She added that across the harsh criticisms the MCU has been facing, at the end of the day: "I mean, these movies aren't for critics, these movies are for fans," Olsen added, "It's really fruitful, and the stories have only gotten better for me, my character. I really enjoyed it."
She also acknowledged the drought that the franchise has been facing, and how it wouldn't affect her decision, "Very few, I feel like, get to be a part of franchises that, I know we might culturally get a little bit exhausted by, but there is something about them that becomes very familial. There's nothing else really like it, and I don't know that I'll have [that] again unless it's for an ongoing show."
What Else Has the Actress Said Previously About Rejoining the MCU?
With Doctor Doom joining the roster soon enough, there have been conflicting rumors and reports that the Scarlet Witch's return might lead her to play Doctor Doom's "bride," while others believe that Olsen will be returning as a variant of the hero in the X-Men Universe, who is set to fight alongside her father, Magneto.
And with the Multiverse still up and going, both theories could very much just come true, if given the chance.

Elizabeth Olsen's one and only condition to reprise Wanda Maximoff was to get the chance to explore other characters beyond the superhero universe, which she arguably has.
Outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she had been known as Candy Montgomery in Love & Death, Christina as one of the main characters in His Three Daughters, and Joan as the woman conflicted in choosing between a new soulmate in the afterlife or falling right back in love with her deceased husband in Eternity.
If anything, the chance to come back as the Scarlet Witch would change for the better. If she were to play a variant of her character, then she would have just as much of an opportunity to get out of her comfort zone in the same familiar set she's been in the longest.
