U.S. President Donald Trump addressed his position on Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ongoing legal battle, discussing whether he would consider pardoning the controversial crapper-producer.

What is Donald Trump's Stance on Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Case?

President Trump revealed his thoughts on the case of Bad Boy Records' Sean 'Diddy' Combs gaining traction. If there's anything Trump is ruling out, it's certainly not this rapper's chances at being freed.

Diddy, 55, is currently on trial in New York City on federal charges of sex trafficking, transportation that engages in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy.

Though he has pleaded guilty and denied all allegations, the President might be his "trump" card in escaping jail time.

"Well, nobody's asked," Trump said in response to Fox News' Peter Doocy's question (via Us Weekly), "I know people are thinking about it."

But don't be fooled just yet, as Trump added he won't just hand in his deal, "First of all, I'd look at what's happening," he also admits he hasn't been updated with the entire story yet, "I haven't been watching it too closely, although it's certainly getting a lot of coverage."

Trump and Diddy were once a friendly bunch, but according to the President, they haven't exactly maintained the friendship over the years.

"I haven't seen [or spoken to] him in years," Trump said, "He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics, that relationship sort of busted up from what I read. I don't know, he didn't tell me that. I read some nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden."

Despite the fallout, Trump claimed he wouldn't care about the past, especially when it comes to setting things right.

"If I think someone was mistreated," he continued, "Whether they like me or don't like me, it wouldn't have any impact on it." But he did say he would "certainly look at the facts" first before deciding on one.

Can the US President's Pardon Get Diddy Off the Hook for His Crimes?

While it remains to be seen if Diddy's reps would reach out to the President for help, it's worth mentioning that Trump recently pardoned Chrisley Knows Best reality star couple Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley for their tax evasion crimes.

The duo entered prison in early 2023 after being found guilty in 2022. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while his wife was sentenced to seven years, initially incarcerating them until 2032 and 2028.

That is, until the President ordered their release on May 28 this year.

"They've been given a pretty harsh treatment based on what I'm hearing," Trump told Chrisley's daughter, Savannah Chrisley, over the phone, as shared on the White House's social media, "Your parents are going to be free and clean."

Trump gained the family's support and gratitude thanks to being released earlier than what was written.

"I want to thank every person that has prayed for us, that has stayed in the fight and that fought for the truth to come out," Trump said in a May 30 press conference (via E! News), "I am grateful for it." Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
