What Happens to Falin in Delicious in Dungeon?
Falin Touden is Laios' younger sister, and she was eaten by the Red Dragon at the beginning of the adventure anime and manga series.
She is the primary reason Laios, Marcille, and Chilchuck returned to the dungeon despite their limited supplies, hoping to save her before she was fully digested by the Red Dragon.
Senshi joins Laios' party as a cook, which solves their food problem. He is a master of monster cuisine, and the best part is that he does not charge any fees for his services.
He only wants to cook some red dragon flesh, and he will be satisfied.
Laios and his group eventually defeat the Red Dragon, recovering Falin's remains in the process.
They successfully restore her to life using Marcille's dark arts of resurrection, only to realize that it comes at a huge cost.
Marcille's magic joined Falin's soul with the Red Dragon's soul, infuriating the mad sorcerer Sissel (Thistle in other translations).
Sissel then controls Falin and transforms her into a chimera to find King Delgal.
Falin's life has never been the same since, but Laios and his party will stop at nothing to get her back, even if it means eating more dungeon monsters, defeating the mad sorcerer, and even the winged lion.
Does Falin Become Human Again in Delicious in Dungeon?
Yes, Falin becomes human again by the end of Delicious in Dungeon, but it took a lot of effort for Laios and his party, as well as everyone else involved, to succeed.
After fighting the Red Dragon, Sissel, and the winged lion, Laios decided that the best chance of restoring Falin was after everyone had eaten her dragon part first, as she was fused with a dragon.
The crucial thing to remember is that they must guarantee that the balance of souls within Falin's body is not skewed in favor of the dragon, or they will fail.
Laios was also concerned that Falin's resurrection would fail due to the curse of the winged lion, claiming that his greatest desire would never be fulfilled. Thankfully, this wasn't the case.
Fortunately, they were able to bring Falin back, repairing her legs and regenerating her digestive system in the process.
They also triggered her human memories by communicating with her and providing her mana while attempting to revive her, making it a huge success.
