Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to have a joint Instagram account through the handle @sussexroyal. But since the couple stepped down from their royal duties, it was eventually cancelled. So, do the Sussexes have Instagram of their own?
As a former actress, Meghan had an Instagram with millions of followers where she shared everything about her life, but she had to delete it when he married Prince Harry in 2018. Alternatively, the Duke of Sussex reportedly had a private account. So, will the public see them actively posting on the platform?
Prince Harry's Private Instagram
In the couple's Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex revealed her now-husband had a secret Instagram where they met.
When the two's common friend told Meghan Prince Harry wanted to meet her, she asked if she could see his feed.

"That's the thing when people say did you Google him? No, but I [moves her hands as if she's swiping] that's your homework. You're like, 'Hmm, let me see what they're about in their feed.' Not what someone else says about them, but what they are putting out about themselves. That to me was the best barometer," she said. "So, I went through, and it was just beautiful photography and all these environmental shots, and this time he was spending in Africa."
Though the show didn't reveal Prince Harry's Instagram handle, it gave a glimpse of some of his posts.
Meghan Markle's Now-Deactivated Instagram
Meghan used to be an "it girl" on the world of Instagram back in the 2010s. She made her page an extension of her fashion and lifestyle blog, The Tig, posting her outings with friends, her dog Bogart, her OOTDs, and millions of selfies.
Though her account remained when she started dating Prince Harry in 2016 and when they got engaged in 2017, it had to be deleted before their wedding took place in 2018.

Meghan Maven noted it was officially closed in January 2018, and a Kensington Palace spokesman thanked her 3 million followers on her behalf.
However, she teased she would soon return to Instagram while promoting her podcast, Archetypes, in August 2022, revealing her plan to relaunch her account.
"I'm getting back… on Instagram," she told The Cut last year. "Especially now, with Archetypes coming out."

However, as of this writing, Meghan is yet to announce if she already has a new Instagram account. Also, as of January 2023, she and Prince Harry are yet to have a joint page on the platform.
