In a move that will shock regular Disneyland visitors, the company has decided to serve alcohol for the first time ever. They won't be readily available in most areas of the park but will be served in a very fitting place; the Star Wars Cantina. This is surprising because Walt Disney was the one who felt that alcohol wouldn't be a good fit for the park but times have changed.
Confirmed via the Cantina's announcement in the Disney Park Blog, it confirms that "libations" will be in the Cantina. Families need not worry as their will also be non-alcoholic drinks for kids so it will technically be all-ages friendly. Plus, those that order alcohol will not be able to bring it to the park, so they will have to finish their drinks there.
One has to wonder what the limits for adults will be since Disney probably doesn't want to have any drunk patrons roaming around their park. Expect a drinking limit, though there's also a chance that they will let adults take responsibility and have them drink to their hearts desires. Only time will tell but it should make fathers and mothers who love Star Wars happier.
The Star Wars Cantina, called Oga's Cantina for authenticity, will be a part of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Both are expected to open in 2019.
