It looks like Disney+ subscribers are in for a treat this Summer.
Yesterday, Disney announced a brand new "Summer Movie Nights" schedule for its streaming site and it looks like the House of Mouse is gearing up to release exciting content on Disney+ starting Friday this week (via ComicBook.com).
The "Summer Movie Nights" film schedule has been set to push through until early September where Disney will release one blockbuster from its massive umbrella every Friday. Disney's new summer blockbuster program is going to begin with Hamilton, the highly-anticipated film adaptation of an iconic award-winning original Broadway production of the same name.
Directed by Thomas Kail and written and co-produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the film was meant to be released in cinemas on October 15, 2021, however, Disney decided to give the film a worldwide digital release on Disney+ instead as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
