Rolling Stone recently published a previously unreleased audio that seemingly showed that Majors admitted to being "aggressive" on Jabbari.

The 28-second audio clip was recorded in September 2022 in the aftermath of a days-long fight. Majors and Jabbari were living together in London at that time as the actor was filming Loki season 2.

Here's the transcript of their conversation in the recording:

MAJORS: I’m ashamed I’ve ever— (cuts himself off) I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.
JABBARI: You strangled me and pushed me against the car.
MAJORS: Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah. That’s never happened to me.
JABBARI: Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?
MAJORS: Well clearly, it’s more than that.
JABBARI: Something inside of you.
MAJORS: Yeah, towards you.

So far, neither Majors nor Jabbari has commented on the release of the audio recording nor have they also authenticated their identities.

In March 2023, Jonathan Majors was arrested for physically assaulting Grace Jabbari. The two reportedly had a domestic dispute and the investigators stated that Jabbari "sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition."

By December of that year, the actor was found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a non-criminal charge of harassment as a violation. He was also acquitted on another charge of assault and one count of aggravated harassment.

He was sentenced to probation by serving a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program.

As a result of his legal issues, Majors was dropped in multiple projects that he was attached to star in. He was also fired by Marvel Studios as the MCU's Kang the Conqueror.

The release of his upcoming film Magazine Dreams was also affected as it was dropped by the original distributor Searchlight Pictures. Briarcliff Entertainment acquired the rights and it is now slated to release in North American theaters this March 21.
