The VMAs are nothing to sneeze at, which is exactly why A-list celebrities like Jessica Simpson stepped out looking stunning on Sunday.
However, Simpson fans are left confused after gazing upon her new look, leading them to wonder if she has had any facial work done.
Did Jessica Simpson Get a Facelift or Any Form of Cosmetic Surgery?
It is worth mentioning that Jessica Simpson had never confirmed she had work done, especially for the 2025 VMAs. She stunned the crowd the moment she walked down the red carpet in a Christian Siriano gown, sporting an unrecognizable look that left people agape.
“That’s Jessica Simpson? Doesn’t look like her!” one fan wrote on X, “She does look great though. I’m trying to figure out who this looks like.”

Another chimed in, “I know that’s not Jessica Simpson,” while a third added, “Is Jessica Simpson in the room with us?” Both of whom considered the 45-year-old looked much younger than she actually is.
“I thought it was Addison Rae for a sec,” one penned on Instagram, while another said, “I thought it was Nader at first,” pertaining to Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
Meanwhile, some have pointed out how her face looked “tight.”
“Jessica Simpson looks like she had an allergic reaction to some expired Chicken of the Sea,” one fan joked on X, in reference to her iconic reality TV show moment from Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
But other fans speculated that the I Wanna Love You Forever hitmaker may have undergone a facelift, “Jessica Simpson… That face is PULLED TIGHT lol.”
What Has Jessica Simpson Said Previously About Cosmetic Procedures?
Jessica Simpson previously mentioned that she found this “non-surgical facelift” brand, Emface, “irresistible.”
While Simpson was only promoting her partnership with the brand at the time, Emface was a new toning and tightening procedure that aims to “elevate the face”, as New York City facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Levine told the news outlet.
According to the surgeon, Emface costs between $1000 and $1500 per treatment, with a recommendation of four to six sessions in total, spaced one week apart.

Simpson had documented and posted her treatment under Emface, which was promoted to “fit almost every patient.” The non-surgical facelift procedure would change Jessica’s face by the “lift of the brow, lower face, and corners of the mouth” while “reducing wrinkles.”
“I can tell you that plastic surgery does not cure what’s inside,” Jessica wrote in her 2020 memoir, Open Book, where she revealed going through two ill-advised tummy tucks in 2015 that left her hospitalized for days with an infection.
“Really, it’s about how you feel emotionally, and I was still just as hard on myself once those stitches were out. I still had work to do.”
