It was rumored recently around the internet that Gal Gadot's Hollywood Walk of Fame star was destroyed just days after her induction ceremony.
The Wonder Woman star's Walk of Fame event earlier this week was met with controversy as it was disrupted by both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protestors. The former was critical of Gadot's stance regarding the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.
Did Gal Gadot's Walk of Fame Star Get Destroyed?
Just days after the induction ceremony, there were rumors on social media that Gadot's Hollywood Walk of Fame star had been vandalized.
A viral post from X user @jaguars_lauregu shared a photo alleging that the Wonder Woman actress' Walk of Fame star has been demolished.
As of the writing of this article, the post has received more than 583,000 likes and 38,000 reposts.
However, hours after the post became viral, the rumor was quickly debunked as a community note was added and clarified that the photo featured Donald Trump's star being demolished, not Gadot's.
Entertainment Weekly also visited the actress' star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to verify. They confirmed that the star remains intact and has not been vandalized in any capacity.
So far, neither Gadot nor the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have commented on the false rumor.
Gal Gadot on Receiving Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Despite the protests, Gadot's Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony still proceeded with Vin Diesel and director Patty Jenkins also present to show their support for the actress.
"I feel like I'm the luckiest woman I know right now. I'm just a girl from a town in Israel, and I could never imagine such moment," Gadot said in her speech.
"I never dreamt of becoming an actress, and I never knew that these things are possible. It's crazy for me, because this is going to last long after I'm out of here."
Gadot's Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony also coincided with the release week of her new film Snow White where she plays the Evil Queen.
