Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is the most highly-anticipated anime series this year, and fans are excited to see how the second season will adapt the Mugen Train arc of the record-breaking film into seven new episodes and the Entertainment District arc from Koyoharu Gotouge's popular manga series.
On Sept. 25, Ufotable, the studio behind the Demon Slayer anime franchise, announced the details for Demon Slayer Season 2, including the release date of both the new version of the Mugen Train arc and the Entertainment District arc. While Season 2 will technically kick-off with a one-hour premiere of Mugen Train arc on Oct. 10, the brand new story won't begin until Dec. 5. If you've already seen the Mugen Train film, you'd be delighted to know that the new version of Mugen Train arc will have 70 brand new scenes, new music, as well as new open and ending animations.
