Daredevil was considered by many as one of the best comic book adaptations on Netflix and many of us were saddened when it was canceled after its third season. While it wrapped things up decently, there was definitely room for exploration and we would have loved to see how they would have adapted certain parts of the Daredevil lore. It looks like fans weren't the only ones who have been suffering since the show's cancellation since Deborah Ann Woll, who played Karen Page in the series, has had a hard time finding work since then.
Appearing in Marvel Creative Director Joe Quesada's show Joe Q's Mornin' Warm Up, the actress detailed how she has been struggling a bit since her show was canceled. Since she's an actress, Woll feels that if she isn't acting she isn't sure who she is and the lack of new opportunities has made her question if her acting skills are still adequate and if people even like working with her.
Honestly, her problems are pretty relatable since a slump like that would make a lot of people question their self-worth like that. We hope that this slump ends soon since Deborah Ann Woll has proven to be a quality actress in Daredevil and True Blood, among other shows. Sure, her iteration of Karen Page was a bit annoying but she performed admirably and definitely deserves a big shot at something else.
Right now, fans can still watch Daredevil on Netflix. The first three seasons are a treat, though season 2 feels like a set-up for The Punisher.
