Legendary DC Comics writer Grant Morrison just made a stunning revelation about their true sexual orientation. With a stellar career spanning over four decades, Morrison is best known by DC fanatics for their outstanding work in titles like Green Lantern, TheFlash, and All-Star Superman. Now, the 60-year-old comic book icon has come out to reveal that they have been part of the LGBTQ community over the last 50 years, identifying themself as non-binary in the process.
In a recent interview with Mondo2000, Morrison, who would now like to be addressed using the pronouns "they" and "them" talked about their recent projects, including the science-fiction series Brave New World, and opened up about their orientation. Grant bravely shared: "When I was a kid there were no words to describe certain aspects of my own experience. I've been non-binary, cross-dressing, 'genderqueer' since I was 10 years old, but the available terms for what I was doing and how I felt were few and far between."

Now, it's just so great how a lot of people have grown to be more accepting and respectful of the LGBT community and their respective rights. As for Grant, whatever their orientation is, it doesn't diminish the fact that they're one of the greatest comic book writers ever and their contributions to the entire geek community will forever be celebrated.
Speaking of the great Grant Morrison, they are currently working on the third volume of Wonder Woman: Earth One which is slated to hit stores in 2021.
